Sustainability reporting

Gazprom has been issuing Sustainability Reports since 2008. In 2023, it was decided to change the report name to “Gazprom Group's Social Impact Report”. The change reflects the increased emphasis on disclosing the information on Gazprom's social programs and the Company's contribution to the implementation of Russia's social and economic policy.

Since 2021, the Report has been included in the package of the documents submitted to the participants of the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom.
By publishing its Reports on a timely and regular basis, Gazprom attains the following goals:
- confirming the transparent and systemic nature of the Company's approach to the activities in the areas of social responsibility, environmental protection and corporate governance,
- updating the disclosed information in response to the needs of its audience,
- enhancing stakeholder confidence,
- making possible an external evaluation and analysis of significant non-financial data (by public authorities, the investment community, rating agencies, the media, etc.),
- improving the appeal of the Gazprom Group as a responsible employer, user of natural resources and taxpayer.
