Since its inception in 2014, BC Zenit has been holding leading positions in Russian basketball. The club has also showed good performance at the international level. In 2021, Zenit made it to the top eight of Europe's best teams and won the revived Vladimir Kondrashin and Alexander Belov Cup. Next year, the team took the Kondrashin and Belov Cup again and became the winner of the United League Super Cup, securing the victory in the championship. This allowed the Blue & White & Sky Blue team to become not only the champions of the VTB League tournament, but also Russian Champions. In 2023, Zenit for the third time won the Kondrashin and Belov Cup and achieved its second victory in the Super Cup.
In the 2023–2024 season, the Blue & White & Sky Blue team will celebrate its tenth anniversary, as well as its fifth season played under the guidance of Spanish Head Coach Xavi Pascual.
