    Hydrogen energy

The development of hydrogen energy in Russia is essential both for the decarbonization of the domestic industry and for exports to the global hydrogen market. This line of activity is also becoming increasingly relevant in the context of the climate agenda in the global economy and energy sector.

    Energy efficiency management system

Improvement of energy efficiency is included in Gazprom's strategic goals and serves to boost the competitiveness of the Gazprom Group both in Russia and in the global energy market, as well as to mitigate environmental impacts and increase the cost-effectiveness of the production operations.

    billion cubic meters
    of natural gas
    billion kWh
    of electricity
    million Gcal
    of heat

    Vernadsky Foundation

In 1995, Gazprom established the Vernadsky Nongovernmental Ecological Foundation. The Foundation is actively advancing environmental projects, supporting organizations that deal with environmental problems, promoting the legacy of Vladimir Vernadsky, and improving environmental culture in Russia.

Over the years of its operation, the Foundation has managed to earn credibility not only within Russia’s environmental community but also in the international arena.

    Foundation is granted
