Alexey Miller and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto discuss gas supplies

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, took place today at St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024.

The parties discussed matters pertaining to gas supplies and the prospects of their cooperation in the gas sector. It was noted that Russian gas supplies are highly important for ensuring the energy security of Hungary.

A Memorandum of Understanding with regard to the possibility of increasing Russian gas supplies to Hungary was signed at the meeting in the presence of Alexey Miller and Peter Szijjarto.
