Andrey Baranov has been elected Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta.
Andrey Baranov was born in 1973. He graduated from Stavropol Polytechnic Institute and North-Caucasus State Technical University.
He has been employed with Gazprom for about 27 years.
From 1996 to 2012: Engineer, Lead Engineer, Chief Engineer of the Izobilnenskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center at Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.
2012–2016: Deputy Director General for Production at Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.
2016–2023: Chief Engineer – First Deputy Director General at Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.
Alexander Gaivoronsky, former Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta, has been elected Director General of Gazprom TECH.
Background
Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom focused on natural gas transmission in nine constituent entities of the Russian Federation: the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Komi Republic, and the Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Tver, Vladimir, and Ivanovo Regions.
The company operates over 17,000 kilometers of gas pipelines.
