Dmitry Shchyogolev put in charge of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym

RELEASE

Dmitry Shchyogolev has been appointed Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym.

Dmitry Shchyogolev was born in 1975. He graduated from Samara State Aerospace University named after Academician Korolyov and received a degree from Tyumen State Oil and Gas University.

He has been employed with Gazprom for about 25 years.

1998–2002: fifth-level Technological Compressor Operator, Shift Engineer, Engineer for Gas Equipment Operation at the gas compressor service of the Stavropolskoye Gas Production Directorate at Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.

2002–2008: Head of the Salskaya compressor station of the Privolnenskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center at Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.

Between 2008 and 2021, Dmitry Shchyogolev rose through the ranks from Deputy Head of the Operation and Technical Division at the Yamalskoye Gas Production Directorate to Chief Engineer – First Deputy Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym.

Background

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company's key activities are production and treatment of gas and gas condensate.

Gazprom Dobycha Nadym was the first gas production company in the north of Western Siberia. It was created to develop and operate the Medvezhye oil, gas and condensate field. It is now also involved in production at the Yubileynoye, Yamsoveyskoye, and Bovanenkovskoye fields. The company holds the license for the development of the Kharasaveyskoye gas and condensate field, where pre-development is in progress, and the Kruzenshternskoye gas and condensate field.
