Vasily Nikitin has been elected Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod.
Vasily Nikitin was born in 1973. He graduated from Ural State Technical University in Yekaterinburg.
He has been part of Gazprom's team for over 27 years.
Between 1995 and 2012, Vasily Nikitin rose through the ranks from Gas Equipment Operation and Repair Engineer of the gas compressor service to Head of the Operations Division for Compressor Stations at Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk.
2012–2017: Deputy Director General for Compressor Stations Operation at Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod.
2017–2023: First Deputy Head of Department at Gazprom.
