The Rhythmic Gymnastics Center was created for year-round training and improving excellence of talented sportsmen from across Russia. The Center comprises, inter alia, comfortable halls for training, halls for choreography and dance repetitions, a swimming pool, a medical rest center fitted with cutting-edge equipment, and a hotel. The facility's sports hall for competitions, which has bleachers for 951 spectators, can host world-class tournaments.
During the creation of the Center, special attention was paid to the glorious pages in Russian rhythmic gymnastics' development history. To that end, the sports complex houses a special interactive museum.
“Rhythmic gymnastics is a vibrant, graceful, artistic, and very spectacular sport. It is one of the most favorite sports in Russia. And, indeed, our country rightfully bears the title of the strongest one in rhythmic gymnastics.
We have built this wonderful Center to provide talented children from all over Russia with the best conditions for doing this fabulous sports discipline. The facility has everything necessary for both training and accommodation of sportsmen, as well as for holding highest-level competitions.
Gazprom is a socially responsible company. Therefore, we want our youth to grow up robust, healthy, strong, and sporty. For that purpose, we are creating most advanced sports facilities across the country under the Gazprom for Children program. There are more than 2,000 of them at the moment. The work on creating sports infrastructure continues,” said Alexey Miller.
