Gazprom and Snam review cooperation prospects

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and Marco Alvera, Chief Executive Officer of Snam, took place today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2017.
The meeting participants discussed the current trends in the European gas market, noting the need for reliable gas supplies to the region’s consumers.
The parties also reviewed the prospects for cooperation in the context of Gazprom’s projects for Russian gas deliveries to Europe, including via the TurkStream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

Italy’s Snam S.p.A. is the largest European infrastructure company engaged in the construction and integrated management of gas transmission facilities, as well as natural gas transportation, storage, regasification and marketing.
