Gazprom held the annual General Shareholders Meeting. The Company’s Board of Directors was elected as follows: Andrey Akimov, Timur Kulibaev, Denis Manturov, Vitaly Markelov, Viktor Martynov, Vladimir Mau, Alexey Miller, Alexander Novak, Dmitry Patrushev, Mikhail Sereda, and Viktor Zubkov.

Viktor Zubkov was named as Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors and Alexey Miller as Deputy Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Gazprom started laying the TurkStream gas pipeline in the deep-water area.

The historic center of St. Petersburg was switched over from obsolete power equipment to new facilities of the Central CHPP’s Power Plant No. 1.

The following documents were signed:

the Agreement of Strategic Cooperation between Gazprom and Uzbekneftegaz for joint efforts in the implementation of new Uzbekistan-based projects;
the EPC contract between Gazprom, Maire Tecnimont Group, and Sinopec Engineering Group for the off-site facilities of the Company’s Amur gas processing plant;
the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom, DEPA, and Edison for the establishment of a southern route for Russian gas supplies to Europe;
two agreements on the Baltic LNG project between Gazprom and Royal Dutch Shell plc: the Heads of Agreement to set up a joint venture and the Joint Study Framework Agreement;
the Agreement on scientific technical cooperation between Gazprom and Comita;
the Cooperation Agreement on personnel training between Gazprom and Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos;
the Agreement between Gazprom and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade for cooperation in creating domestic subsea production systems;
the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities for the advancement of collaboration between the parties and for further improvement of the Company’s investment efficiency;
the Agreement of Cooperation in the field of standardization and conformity assessment between Gazprom and the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart);
the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Russian Highways State Company for the use of aerospace technologies in developing the infrastructure of the Europe – Western China international transport route;
the Agreement for cooperation and partnership in the field of innovation between Gazprom and United Engine Corporation;
the Agreement to promote the use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel between Gazprom and Moscow’s Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development;
two Agreements of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Government of St. Petersburg for the creation of two St. Petersburg-based industrial clusters composed of production, research, design and educational entities of the Northwestern Federal District;
the Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom and the Government of the Komi Republic for the implementation of the Company’s investment projects, including the construction of the Ukhta – Torzhok 2 gas trunkline;
the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for the promotion of favorable conditions for the creation of the Yakutia gas production center and the construction of the Power of Siberia gas trunkline, as well as for sustainable social and economic development of the region;
the roadmap between Gazprom and the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia for a set of measures to implement a plan aimed at expanding the Serbian gas transmission system;
the roadmap between Gazprom and the Government of the Tula Region for a wider use of high-tech products, including import-substituting ones, manufactured by the Tula Region’s companies at Gazprom’s facilities;
the Memorandum of Understanding between Gazprom and OMV for the coordination of efforts aimed at developing the gas transmission infrastructure required for providing natural gas supplies to Central and Southeastern Europe, as well as the Framework Agreement for collaboration in the small-scale LNG sector;
the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and Caspian Innovation Company for the conduct of a feasibility study with regard to building a petrochemical complex in the Astrakhan Region to manufacture polymeric products from ethane;
the 2017–2019 program for research and development in the interests of Gazprom between the Company and the St. Petersburg State University of Economics;
the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom Space Systems and Bonn Hungary Electronics Ltd. (BHE) for cooperation in monitoring gas transmission facilities;
the Memorandum of Understanding between Gazprom Export and Srbijagas for the preparation of the technical and financial feasibility studies with the purpose of expanding the Banatski Dvor UGS facility.
