The Gazprom Board of Directors created a Commission to strengthen financial discipline for domestic gas supplies in the Russian Federation. Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors, and Alexander Babakov, Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, were elected as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Commission, respectively.

The following documents were signed:

the Supplementary Agreement to the Sales and Purchase Agreement for Russian gas to be supplied via the eastern route, which was inked by Gazprom and CNPC on May 21, 2014. In accordance with the Supplementary Agreement, gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline will commence in December 2019;
the roadmap between Gazprom and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary for the implementation of measures aimed at developing Hungary’s gas transmission system;
the Memorandum of Understanding between Gazprom Export and Hungarian Gas Trade Ltd reflecting the intent of the parties to continue long-term cooperation with regard to Russian gas supplies to Hungary;
the contract between NIPIGAZpererabotka and China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC), according to which the Chinese company will carry out construction and install cryogenic gas separation units at the Amur gas processing plant.

The Russian team took first place at the Arc Cup 2017 International Welding Competition in Shanghai, China. Gazprom Dobycha Nadym’s Sergey Silantyev was declared the winner in Shielded Metal Arc Welding, the most prestigious category in the competition.

St. Petersburg hosted the Fifth Football for Friendship 2017 International Children’s Forum featuring young participants from 64 countries.

The winners of the 18th Gazprom’s Computer-Aided Design and Information Technologies Contest were awarded for their achievements.
