Sci-tech capabilities of Perm Territory to be applied maximally by Gazprom

Roadmap on the project for expanding the application of high technology products manufactured by scientific and production entities of the Perm Territory for the benefit of Gazprom was signed today by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Viktor Basargin, Governor of the Perm Territory within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2014.
The Roadmap execution between 2014 and 2016 will provide for further revealing sci-tech and industrial capabilities of the region. The evolution of science-intensive import-substituting products for the gas industry will give an additional impetus to the Territory economy, and an opportunity to optimize costs – to Gazprom.
According to the document, the organizations and enterprises of the Perm Territory will prepare proposals for applying their developments at the Company's facilities.
Then, the developments will be certified for complying with the Company's requirements, and the readiness for mass production and application will be evaluated. Following this stage they will be included to the register of equipment, materials and technologies admitted for using in Gazprom's projects. It will enable suppliers to participate in competitive acquisitions of products and services for Gazprom.
Background
As part of the import-substitution program and with a view to reduce costs, Gazprom has signed with the Voronezh, Omsk and Tomsk Regions roadmaps for promoting technologies, products and services of local sci-tech entities for the Company's needs.
