Congratulations on Victory Day!

On May 4, 2012 the Gazprom headquarters hosted celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Sergey Khomyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee addressed the veterans with a congratulatory speech:
“Great victories are paid by a great price. Million of our citizens sacrificed their lives for the Victory. A lot of European battlefields were poured with Russian soldiers’ blood. All the families of our country were covered by the War. This day we bow our heads respectfully before the memory of our heroes.
I want to thank all the veterans. We are delighted at their whole-hearted love for the Homeland, courage and bravery. All the postwar generations should take you for model. All our achievements are dedicated to your heroic deed.”
A concert and a gala dinner were given in honor of the veterans. The Pyatnitsky State Academic Russian Folk Choir, the Pesnyary band and Renat Ibragimov sang songs of the war period. Sergey Nikonenko, People's Artist of Russia also congratulated the veterans.
