Arts Festival held in China

In October 2010 Beijing (People’s Republic of China) hosted the Arts Festival of Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). This event was recognized as one of the most large-scale projects for cultural exchange between Russia and China.
Taking part in the Festival were more than 50 winners of the Fakel Corporate Festival, representatives from Gazprom’s subsidiaries and amateur teams from CNPC.
The joint concert of amateur teams from Gazprom and CNPC was first held in April 2007 in China. In recent years the Fakel Festival winners have successfully performed in Beijing, Langfang, Sian and Dalian while the CNPC amateur teams repeatedly took part in the Fakel Festival held in Gelendzhik.
The Arts Festival of Gazprom and CNPC is a spectacular example of successful cooperation, friendship and respect to the original culture of different nations.
