Gas Industry of Russia Digest celebrates its 55th anniversary

In the Gazprom headquarters Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Company's Management Committee congratulated today the editorial staff of the Gas Industry of Russia Digest on its 55th anniversary.

“For more than 50 years the Gas Industry of Russia Digest has been a trusted journal where up-to-date scientific and technological issues were in focus. The editorial board publishes the papers of the authors who are true professionals in respective research areas. Their experience and knowledge help develop the gas sector, enhance its innovative component.

The editorial board was awarded with the commemorative diplomas and certificates.
Background
The Gas Industry of Russia Digest is one of the long-standing and industry-specific journals dedicated to scientific, technical and production issues. It was established by an order of the USSR Oil Industry Ministry, the first issue came out in January 1956. Since 1992 Gazprom (by then – Gazprom State Gas Concern) has been a founder of the journal. Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee is the Chief Editor of the Digest.
The Gas Industry of Russia Digest is the author's journal which is included in a list of publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission for publishing the key results of Doctoral and PhD theses.
In particular, the articles by Sabit Orudzhev, USSR Gas Industry Minister were published in the Digest as well as papers of representatives from the specialized ministries and departments, the research and development institutions, the management of Gazprom and its subsidiaries.
