Gazprom approved the adjusted versions of the 2009 Investment Program and Budget.

The Company established its USD 4 billion Guaranteed European Commercial Paper Programme.

The process for acquiring a 51 per cent stake in SeverEnergia was accomplished.

Thomson Reuters announced Gazprom as Russia’s leading company for investor relations.

Gazprom completed the second string of the Minsk – Vilnius – Kaunas – Kaliningrad gas pipeline, commissioned a unique bridge crossing over the Yuribey River on the Yamal Peninsula and a new turbine unit at Vasileostrovskaya CHPP in Saint Petersburg. The Company initiated construction of the Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline and Adler TPP.

The Company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Urals Federal Okrug and an Agreement of Cooperation for 2010 with the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The Company’s delegations took part in the 4th Far Eastern International Economic Forum, 9th International Conference for Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Russian Arctic and CIS Continental Shelf “RAO/CIS OFFSHORE 2009”, 8th International Investments Forum “Sochi 2009”, 19th Annual International Congress “Innovative Technologies in the Oil, Gas, Energy and Communication Sectors” (CITOGIC 2009 Ufa).
