Board of Directors forms new Audit Committee

The Board of Directors’ meeting is underway at the Gazprom Headquarters.
Due to the decease of Boris Fyodorov, Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, a new composition of the Committee has been elected.
Mikhail Sereda has been elected as the Audit Committee Chairman, with Burckhard Bergmann and Farit Gazizullin elected as the Committee Members.
Background
The Audit Committee focuses on assessing:
- nominees for the Company’s auditors;
- the Auditor’s Report;
- the efficiency of internal control procedures in Gazprom and elaboration of proposals on their improvement.
