On the eve of September 1, Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol held a charity event for children under the care of children's social institutions of the Stavropol Territory. According to a long-standing tradition which has been existing for already a quarter of a century, the company's employees brought various food products to the students of the sanatorium boarding school of the Podluzhnoye village, as well as to the children at the social rehabilitation center for minors of the Tishchenskoye village and children's homes of the Solnechnodolsk town and the Nadezhda village of the Stavropol Territory.
“Twice a year, we set a big festive table for children with the food brought by the gas workers,” says Natalia Alyaninova, Director of sanatorium boarding school No. 21 of the Podluzhnoye village. “We organize such celebrations on the occasion of Knowledge Day and New Year's Day. A total of 130 children currently study at our premises. Our students need a long-term rehabilitation care after diseases. Good food is the basis for children's well-being.”
The gas workers brought special food packages to the young people who had graduated from the social institutions this year.
The guests from Gazprom were also greeted with gifts: the children prepared the crafts made with their own hands to mark the professional holiday of gas workers which coincided with this year's Knowledge Day.
