Gazprom Pererabotka and FC Zenit hold cooking master class for persons under care of Perspektivy charity organization

On June 29, this season's final event of the social project of Gazprom Pererabotka and FC Zenit to support the program of regular assistance run by the Perspektivy charity organization took place in St. Petersburg.
Zenit's midfielders Gustavo Mantuan and Du Queiroz together with the persons under the care of Perspectivy, who live in the psychoneurological care home and assisted living apartments, participated in the cooking master class on tacos, a national dish of Latin America. The event took place in the Normal Place art residence created with financial support from Gazprom Pererabotka.
“For more than five years, Gazprom Pererabotka has been implementing the Ravnye (Equals) project, which aims to help the Perspektivy charity organization and the Special Olympic Committee, the institutions that provide assistance to people with mental and physical challenges. FC Zenit joined us not so long ago. Naturally, our social initiative gained new content, new significance and the new name, Norm of Life. As part of the project, six unique meetings with football players took place at the club's fields and at the sites of Perspectivy. There is no doubt that these meetings brought joy to all participants and attracted media and public attention to the social initiative,” said Larisa Koblik, Deputy Head of the PR and Media Relations Service at Gazprom Pererabotka.

All participants received souvenirs and took group pictures as keepsakes of the event.
“I think it is very important to have such projects and such organizations. We see how happy all the participants of the event are. These people encounter more challenges in life than we do. We were very glad to see them smiling, and I am pleased that our meeting put everyone in good spirits,” said Gustavo Mantuan.
Background
Gazprom Pererabotka, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, is focused on transmission and processing of hydrocarbons. The company comprises five processing plants, a helium plant, and a liquid hydrocarbon transportation directorate.

It also produces motor fuels of all types, stable gas condensate, natural gas liquids, jet fuel, carbon black, combustible natural gas, and helium.
The company employs more than 17,000 people, including branch personnel. Its headquarters are located in St. Petersburg.

Norm of Life is a program of regular assistance and support to people with severe disabilities who live in care homes. These people often have no access to the things that are generally perceived as a norm, such as walks, home, family, freedom of movement, and possibility of choice.
FC Zenit and Gazprom Pererabotka that have been partners of the Perspektivy (Prospects) charity organization for several years take part in the project to jointly prove that culture and creativity, sports in general and football, inclusion and regular help to those who need it are the norm of life.
As part of their joint work, the football club and its partner have planned six events bringing together the players and coaches of the Zenit team and the persons under the care of the Perspektivy organization.
