Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk holds New Year’s Eve charity events

On the occasion of the upcoming New Year and Christmas, festive charity events for children were organized at all branches of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk.

In Tomsk, thanks to the Kind New Year and Fairy Tale for a Child projects, New Year's gifts were given to children from social rehabilitation centers located in the Parabel and Kargasok villages, as well as the Rostok child care center for children without parental custody located in Tomsk. The company's employees participated in purchasing the desired gifts; the volunteers from the youth movement of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk helped deliver the presents. More than 120 children received the gifts as part of the charity events.

In addition, a number of sports events on the occasion of the New Year's Eve took part with support from gas workers. The Tomsk branch of the company held a regional boxing tournament for children. The employees of the Emergency Response and Recovery Directorate organized a marathon in multiple sports for the students of the boarding school for children with hearing impairments. Boys and girls from the Yukhta school for children with special needs were given the opportunity to participate in a sports event organized by the employees of the Svobodnenskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center.

As part of the Christmas Tree of Good project, the team of the Sakhalinskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center presented a talented child from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk with a laptop. The employees of Emergency Response and Recovery Directorate No. 2 and the Neryungri Branch gave New Year greetings to children facing difficult life circumstances and organized a fairytale performance for boys and girls from the Nezabudka (Forget-Me-Not) social preschool institution. The children under the care of the Bratsk children's residential care home received building bricks, board games and creative kits which were brought by the employees of the Irkutskoye Gas Pipeline Operation Center. In Lensk, gas workers gave gift certificates to the children whose fathers are serving in the Special Military Operation area.
