Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk provides support to children’s entities

Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk continues to support social and educational entities in the regions where the company operates.

At the beginning of the new school year, a social adaptation room opened in the Bratsk children's residential care home to serve the needs of the 117 children being under the care of this social institution. A special classroom was furnished with modern household appliances supplied with support from the gas workers of the Irkutsk Branch of the company. In the classroom, the children, under the supervision of teachers, will practice important household skills: do the ironing, cleaning and food reheating.

The representatives of the Barabinsk Branch visited the Growth Point Center for Digital Studies and Humanities which is functioning at school No. 5 in Barabinsk. The gas workers presented the Center with a gift certificate for purchasing a floor chess set and organized the “Time to Win!” chess tournament.

The employees of the Primorsk Branch gave sets of special tactile books designed for visually impaired children to the remedial group for children with reduced mobility of kindergarten No. 21 in Ussuriysk and to the library of the All-Russian Association of the Blind inter-district organization. The gift sets also included a special device that reads aloud the text from the book pages.

Before the start of the new school year, the employees of the Novosibirsk Branch performed interior renovation works in the gym of school No. 189. The Novosibirsk Branch of the company purchased all required materials, and the employees plastered and painted the walls with their own hands. Starting from September 1, the school sports lessons and the training sessions in the school sports clubs take place in the renovated gym.
