Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala provides assistance to Boarding School for orphaned children and children without parental care

Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala has provided charitable assistance to the Boarding School for orphaned children and children without parental care in Makhachkala.

“The students of our school are orphans, vulnerable children, and children from large families,” said Malik Gadzhiev, the director of the social institution. “Today, 162 children aged from 6.5 to 18 years study and live at our premises. Needless to say, the support provided by Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala is very important for our teaching staff, and we are grateful to the company’s employees and its Director General Alexander Astanin for their attention and assistance to our children who are facing challenges in their lives.”

Video projectors, laptops, and state-of-the-art printers donated to the boarding school will significantly help the teachers and facilitate the learning process and the perception of educational materials for schoolchildren.

“This equipment is useful for video lessons,” said Vyacheslav Moskalenko, teacher of computer science. “Children learn computer literacy, develop logical thinking and grasp the basics of programming during the lessons. We also use laptops for distance learning and remote testing of our students.”
