Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Smolensk brings gas to rehabilitation center in Smolensk Region

Specialists of Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Smolensk have completed the first stage of converting to gas the new Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, which is under construction in the Dugino village in the Sychyovsky District, Smolensk Region. The center will provide recovery services for patients recuperating from various diseases, including the coronavirus.
A 400-meter gas pipeline that was built by Smolensk gas workers as part of the conversion project will supply gas to the center’s infrastructure, which includes a balneary, a swimming pool, a gym, a canteen, and living quarters.
In the first half of 2021, it is planned to complete the second stage of installation works on the center’s gas supply system.
“In addition, our employees have finished the installation of the gas supply network for the heating room of another social facility – the healthcare center with a swimming pool based in Vyazma, Smolensk Region. A gas pipeline was built via horizontal drilling under the roadbed in order to connect the center to the gas distribution networks,” said Pavel Bodrov, Director of the Vyazma branch of Gazprom Gazoraspredeleniye Smolensk.
