On August 2, the 10th annual open track-and-field race was held to mark 49 years since the Gas Production Directorate of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg was established.
Track-and-field race honoring anniversary of Gas Production Directorate of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg starts from Comprehensive Gas Treatment Unit No. 6
Fifty-five employees and veterans of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg together with workers from Gazprom Group companies based in the Orenburg Region and representatives of several regional companies and higher education institutions took part in the race. The 10-kilometer run started from Comprehensive Gas Treatment Unit (CGTU) No. 6, and the finish line was set up near CGTU No. 2 where the racers laid flowers at the monument to gas production pioneers.

The best result in the race was demonstrated by Alexey Shirshov, oil and gas production operator at CGTU No. 14.
