Silver Key vocalists performing festival’s closing song

On May 10–11, the Ponomarenko Krasnodar Philharmonic hosted the Silver Key corporate festival for amateur ensembles and performers. The festival brought together 104 participants from among the employees of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar and their children. The contestants arrived from the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and the Komi Republic.

The festival participants competed in nine categories: Vocals (Folk, Pop, Jazz), Choreography (Folk, Variety, Ballroom), Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles, and Variety & Circus. The jury was made up of honored cultural workers of Russia and Kuban.

“Our company has a team of consummate professionals who are also talented people. Our main goal is to support them and help them realize their inner potential. This is the fifth edition of the festival. And each time, it has been a true celebration of creativity, discovering new names and talent,” said Andrey Zakharov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar.

The Grand Prix went to Margarita Krotova (Utility Vehicles and Special-Purpose Machinery Directorate). All participants received commemorative diplomas and valuable prizes.

Background

Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, is engaged in the development of 44 fields, including 26 gas fields, ten gas and condensate fields, seven oil, gas and condensate fields, and one oil field. The company’s operating well stock consists of 1,257 wells producing some 3 billion cubic meters of gas and 280,000 tons of liquid hydrocarbons per year.

Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar’s production facilities are located in the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov Region, the Stavropol Territory, the Republics of Adygea and Kalmykia, and the Komi Republic. The company has nine branches, including three gas production directorates.

The ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system is in effect at Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar. The company employs over 3,800 people. It is headquartered in Krasnodar.

From 2010 through 2014, talented employees of the company took part in a local festival for amateur ensembles, which was the qualifying round of Gazprom’s Fakel Festival. The contest took place once every two years in the Culture Center of the Kanevskaya village in the Krasnodar Territory. In 2016, the festival was renamed as Silver Key and changed its location: for the first time, the qualifying round was held in Krasnodar and involved employees of the company’s branches based in the Komi Republic.
