Gazprom UGS opens four sports grounds in Ryazan Region

Four sports grounds constructed under the Gazprom for Children program opened at once on September 1 and 2 in Ryazan schools. The representatives of the Regional and Municipal Administrations as well as famous Ryazan athletes took part in the ceremonies.
A sports ground at the premises of lyceum No. 4 was the first to be opened. Taking part in the opening ceremony was Tatiana Pyzhonkova, Minister of Youth Policy, Physical Culture and Sport of the Ryazan Region, who congratulated the lyceum students on the beginning of the school year and said she thought such a sports facility to be “an excellent present to the lyceum”.
Secondary schools No. 47 and 73 of Ryazan as well as the Novomichurinsk secondary school No. 3, Pronsk District were also presented with modern versatile sports facilities.
These sports grounds provide an opportunity for playing tennis, basketball or streetball, volleyball, futsal, handball, hockey. They have an eco-friendly hardwearing surface manufactured in compliance with the most cutting-edge technologies, which is quick to dry after rain, freeze-resistant and may be easily transformed into a skating rink in winter.
