On the threshold of the Knowledge Day, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk held several campaigns and events dedicated to the beginning of the school year.
Within the traditional Present to a First-Grader campaign the company representatives presented 100 backpacks with school supplies to children from low-income and multi-child families across the company’s activity area – in Yamal, Kamchatka and for the first time in Yakutia. Ten more backpacks were given to the forced migrants who moved to Noyabrsk from Ukraine.
On the eve of September 1 a square in front of the Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk headquarters hosted the First-Grader’s Day concert & entertainment program. Adults instructed the children and wished them academic and creative achievements as well as new discoveries.
In addition, the company presented all the schools of Noyabrsk with interactive whiteboards for lessons schedule with a screen for placing photographs and information ticker bars. On the Knowledge Day the schoolchildren could see the familiar city views and gas workers’ congratulations.
The budget of charity events held by Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk before the school year beginning exceeded RUB 1.5 million.
Background
Being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk develops five fields including four gas ones and one oil, gas & condensate field as well as operates 547 wells. The company’s production facilities are located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, in Kamchatka, the Urals and Yakutia. The company comprises five gas production sites and three directorates. Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk renders services as the gas production and treatment operator to the independent subsurface users in the Gubkinskoye, Muravlenkovskoye, Novogodneye, Tarasovskoye, Severo-Gubkinskoye fields (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area), as well as in the Kshukskoye and Nizhne-Kvakchikskoye fields of Kamchatka. The ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system as well as the OHSAS 18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system are introduced at the company which produces and treats over 70 billion cubic meters of gas a year, employing more than 3,800 people. The company is headquartered in Noyabrsk.
