Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk employees celebrate Victory Day

On the Great Victory Day 3,269 employees of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk took part in the Immortal Regiment campaign, supporting it across Western and Eastern Siberia and the Far East.

In Tomsk 859 company employees marched with the Immortal Regiment column, while in the Sakhalin Region, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Ussuriysk, Bratsk and Lensk 875 employees of the Far Eastern branches joined the Immortal Regiment. The patriotic campaign also united 1,535 employees of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk in the Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Tomsk Regions as well as the Altai Territory and Omsk.

On the threshold of Victory Day, Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk channeled RUB 420 thousand to veteran councils of the Kargasoksky, Parabelsky and Sovetsky districts of Kedrovy on arranging subscriptions to periodicals and holding celebrations. Charitable assistance was also provided to veteran councils in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Lensk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Barabinsk and Alexandrovskoye village of the Tomsk Region as well as in other Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk activity regions.

The company employees rendered targeted assistance to the war participants and the homefront workers, visiting every one of them. In cooperation with the local authorities and veteran councils the employees of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk branches cleaned veterans’ graves. Using the collected funds, the employees of the Irkutsk Line Pipe Operation Center organized veteran congratulations and tidied the war memorials in the Pravoberezhny district of Bratsk.

Each of the Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk branches carried on the tradition of holding charitable campaigns for veterans.

The employees of the Altai Line Pipe Operation Center visited Kytmanovo retirement home and carried on the Garden for Veterans campaign by planting fruit trees. The musical part of the celebration included a performance featuring Eugenia Okhanova, winner of the Novye Imena festival of amateur creative teams and performers of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk.

A traditional charitable campaign called Gas Workers to Veterans took place in the Sakhalin Line Pipe Operation Center. The collected funds were allotted for buying household appliances and clothes. The Sakhalin branch employees organized a celebration at the retirement home and presented the said institution with a certificate for purchasing equipment for the physiotherapist's office

On May 9 the Khabarovsk Line Pipe Operation Center organized (for the fourth year in a row) the Soldier Porridge campaign together with the Eastern Military District for Khabarovsk citizens. Over two thousand people of all ages took part in the campaign.
