A helicopter full of New Year presents left Nadym for Yar-Sale settlement (Yamal District, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area) under the annual A Present to Every Child charitable campaign organized by Gazprom Dobycha Nadym.

Gas workers helped Father Frost to load the helicopter with 1,000 presents for the kids of reindeer herders. All in all, over 3,000 children have received New Year presents from Nadym gas workers within the campaign.
A Present to Every Child New Year campaign rounds up the series of charitable initiatives of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym in 2013.
Every year the company holds more than 10 events aimed at providing social support to children: arranging summer holidays, sponsoring students’ flights from boarding schools to their families’ homes, organizing the International Boxing Tournament in Tribute to Vladislav Strizhov within the Gazprom for Children program, providing assistance in holding the 2013 Yamal Verticals, Russian youth rock-climbing championship, and setting up the contest of special projects aimed at developing children’s creative activities and sports.
Background
Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom mainly focused on gas and gas condensate production and treatment.
The first gas production company in the northern region of Western Siberia, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym was set up to develop and operate the Medvezhye oil, gas and condensate field. Nowadays, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym also develops the Yubileynoye, Yamsoveyskoye and Bovanenkovskoye fields. The company holds the subsurface use license for the Kharasaveyskoye gas and condensate field which is currently at the pre-development stage.
The company’s area of activity covers the Nadym, Pur and Yamal Districts of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. It is a city-forming enterprise for Nadym and the Pangody settlement. The company employs over 9 thousand people.
The company comprises 12 operating gas field facilities and 15 specialized branches. The annual volume of natural gas production totals some 60 billion cubic meters. Gazprom Dobycha Nadym introduced the ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system.
