Workroom of Joy

Between June 26 and 27 the Berezka recreation complex hosted the sixth festival named the Workroom of Joy for children from large and socially disadvantaged families in the Samara and Ulyanovsk Regions.
The festival opening ceremony, where the Talisman classic dance company displayed their talents, was followed by master classes in various kinds of art: origami, production of exclusive hand-made gifts, clay molding, dancing.
Coaches held master classes in table tennis, football, pioneerball, streetball and air rifle shooting. The festival was finished with the traditional bonfire and gifts giving.
Background
Gazprom Transgaz Samara is Gazprom’s wholly-owned subsidiary dealing with natural gas transmission via gas trunklines and supply to six Russian regions: the Samara, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Penza, Saratov Regions and the Republic of Mordovia.
Nowadays, Gazprom Transgaz Samara operates 4,300 kilometers of gas trunklines, 19 compressor stations, 144 gas distribution facilities and conveys 15 per cent of natural gas produced in Russia.
Gazprom Transgaz Samara is comprised of 18 branches, of which 8 branches are engaged in gas transmission and 10 branches are responsible for equipment maintenance, supply, transportation, communications and safety at facilities.
In 2011 the company obtained the certificate of compliance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2008 governing the management of gas transmission via gas trunklines.
