Four sportsmen from Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod: Sergey Mukhin, Olga Borisova, Anton Zaikov and Andrey Kremlevsky took part in the 14th FINA World Masters Championships.
The company’s swimmers earned 17 medals, namely six gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal for the Russian team.

Sergey Mukhin set a European record in mixed 4x50 free relay. Anton Zaikov made three records in 200 meter freestyle, men’s 4x50 freestyle relay and 4x50 medley relay. Andrey Kremlevsky also has a Russian record in 400 meter individual medley. As part of the Championships, Olga Borisova set two Russian records in 50 and 100 meter individual medley, two European records in 4x50 mixed and medley relays as well as a world record in women’s 4x50 free relay.
The 14th FINA World Masters Championships took place in June 2012 in Italian city of Riccione. It was the most numerous championship – around 10,000 swimmers from 76 countries around the world.
In 2011 Sergey Mukhin, Olga Borisova and Anton Zaikov had won the swimming competitions in the 9th Adult Summer Spartakiada Games among Gazprom’s subsidiary companies and organizations.
