News from projects and regions
In early December, Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol children’s dance team Skazka performed triumphantly at the World Showdance Championships held in Riesa (Germany).
Traditionally, this choreographic competition led by the International Dance Organization (IDO) gathers performers from around the world. This year’s Championship was attended by dancers from 29 countries, including Russia, the USA, South Africa, Canada, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic and others. Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol trainees entered the list of the top 185 dancers representing Russia in this global dance championship.
Championship competitions were held in three age groups: children, juniors and adults. The Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol dancing group became the champion in the Formation children’s category beating rivals from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia and Poland in the finals.
The gained title made it possible to add medals to the Russian team’s collection. The Russian team finally became the third in the unofficial team classification.
