“What? Where? When?” intellectual game held in Nadym

On April 6 Nadym hosted the “What? Where? When?” intellectual game involving Alexey Blinov, captain of a well-known team of experts. The competition was arranged by Gazprom Dobycha Nadym.
Taking part in the event were teams from 12 branches of the company. The Capital Construction Directorate was represented by two teams and Yamalenergogaz Directorate team was led by Oleg Kharchenko, head of this structural unit.
Finally, the victory was won by the team playing on behalf of the Gazprom Dobycha Nadym Administration management, the second place was taken by the Capital Construction Directorate and Nadym Oil and Gas Production Directorate experts earned the bronze prize.
Alexey Blinov was the chief referee of the intellectual competitions. Upon completion of the game, the famous guest held a master class for the participants and gave answers to the questions of interest.
Background
Gazprom Dobycha Nadym is Gazprom’s wholly-owned subsidiary focused on gas and gas condensate production and treatment. The first gas production company in the northern region of Western Siberia was created to develop and operate the Medvezhye oil, gas and condensate field. Nowadays, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym also develops the Yubileynoye and Yamsoveyskoye fields and holds the subsurface use licenses for the Kharasaveyskoye gas and condensate field and the Bovanenkovskoye oil, gas and condensate field currently in the pre-development stage.
The “What? Where? When?” competitions among the company’s employees have been held since 2009. In 2010 Gazprom Dobycha Nadym experts won the intellectual championship among cities and towns of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In 2011 a Nadym gas workers team represented the company and the Okrug at the “What? Where? When?” World Championship held in Odessa.
