Winners of the 8th annual infant contest “May There Always Be Mama” in literary and artistic, applicative art were awarded on November 25 at the Gasmen Palace in Orenburg.
A contest arranger is the Orenburg Gaz corporate newspaper of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg.
The contest “May There Always Be Mama” extended from March to November 2011. More than 400 children in the age from 4 to 14 years old – children of employees working for Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg, enterprises within the Gazprom in Orenburzhye noncommercial partnership as well as children of inhabitants living in the Orenburg and Perevolotsk Districts of the Orenburg Oblast took part in the creative contest.
More than 500 compositions, paintings, ornamental works were submitted to the jury. Some works were published in the newspaper pages.
Evaluation of contest works was performed in 3 nominations and in 3 age categories. About 60 competitors received diplomas and special prizes. Each event’s participant received the book “May There Always Be Mama”, which includes best works.
Anastasia Solomko from the South Urals middle school of the Orenburg District, which took on all nominations, gained a contest grand prize. All her works – compositions, paintings and crafts were singled out for a high mark by the jury. A certificate for summer vacation in 2012 at the Dyuna recreation camp of Anapa was presented to the girl.
Background
Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company’s main activities are hydrocarbon feedstock production, treatment and transmission. The company is a participant of the Gazprom for Children program implementation in the Orenburg Oblast territory.
The Gazprom in Orenburzhye noncommercial partnership was established in 2007. It united 30 gas companies operating in the Orenburg Oblast for implementation of social projects.
