On March 18, 2011 Krasnodar hosted a ceremonial opening of overhauled arts and craft section at Viktor Zakharchenko (Artistic Director of Kuban Cossacks Chorus) High School. Participating in the event were the School teachers and pupils, the Krasnodar Krai Administration and Gazprom dobycha Krasnodar representatives.

Gazprom dobycha Krasnodar allocated funds and controlled the overhaul of 3 classrooms and a training room as well as utility rooms. The amount of funds allocated for the classrooms reconstruction totaled RUB 500 thousand.

“Our company has been cooperating with Viktor Zakharchenko School for many years and for a good reason since this educational institution leads the younger generation on the wealth of folk culture and helps creatively gifted kids to unlock their potential and find their way of life. The School was overhauled as part of the Gazprom to Children program”, – noted Mikhail Geikhman, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar.
