The 8th Dedurovskaya Vysota track and field tournament for Gazprom dodycha Orenburg prizes was held in the Dedurovka settlement of the Orenburg District, Orenburg Oblast.
Taking part in the tournament were some 250 sportsmen from Samara, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Togliatti, Kineshma, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan as well as cities, towns and regions of the Orenburg Oblast. The participants were competing in high jumping and 100-meter running.
Having cleared a 198-centimeter bar, Anna Shorstova from Chelyabinsk showed the world’s best result in the 2011 season.
Vladimir Kuntsevich, the USSR champion became the Dedurovskaya Vysota record holder. Having cleared a 181-centimeter bar, he surpassed by one centimeter the world’s record among veterans 55 to 60 years old.
Ekaterina Prikhodkova from Dedurovka (12 years old) won the competition’s first place in her age group. Her result was 155 centimeters. Among the children born in 1999, Ekaterina is the best Russian sportswoman. Her personal record is 160 centimeters.

Gazprom dobycha Orenburg is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company is primarily focused on hydrocarbons production, processing and transmission.
Gazprom dobycha Orenburg and the Orenburg District administration jointly arrange a number of sport events: the Cross of Nations large-scale competition, the Ski Track of Russia, the Dedurovskaya Racket table tennis tournament, etc.
Since 2007 the Dedurovskaya Vysota has taken place in a new jumping sector constructed at the expense of the Gazprom in Orenburzhye non-commercial partnership.
In 2009 the Nadezhda track and field complex was reconstructed in Dedurovka as part of the Gazprom to Children program.
