News from projects and regions
Peter Gaz has completed installation of the process equipment at Adler TPP. All the equipment units and control rooms are installed on basements, and they are being hooked up. The whole set of operations for assembly, laying and backfilling gas laterals have been accomplished, the AGDS is being prepared for tests which are scheduled for this August.
Construction and assembly work, including the equipment checkout, is fully on schedule and will be completed in the third quarter of 2011.
Background
The automated gas distribution station in the Adler district of Sochi (Adler AGDS) is constructed with a view to supply natural gas to Adler TPP, populated centers of the Adler district of Sochi, Olympic venues located in the Imereti lowland and the Krasnaya Polyana settlement.
The station is aimed at lowering a high input pressure exerted by natural gas (Рin = 4.1 MPa) to the desired output pressure (Рout = 1.2 MPa) and maintaining it within the desired range with a certain accuracy as well as treating, heating and measuring the flow of gas before it is fed to consumers.
Designed on the basis of Saratov-70M GDS, the Adler AGDS project is constructed as separate units and control rooms ready to operate and stuffed with all the required ancillary equipment.
- AGDS maximum capacity – 301,500 cubic meters per hour.
- Operating input pressure – 4.1 MPa.
- Operating output pressure – 1.2 MPa.
- Annual useful capacity – 85.2 million cubic meters for domestic consumers and 844.5 million cubic meters for industrial consumers.
