During the New Year vacations Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan arranged a charity event for 800 foster children from 11 sponsored educational institutions – orphanages, boarding houses, special schools for handicapped children, and rehabilitation centers. The creative team of the Victoria Culture Center (Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan) staged the New Year musical “The Wolf and Seven Little Goats”. The children were accompanied to the performance by their teachers, supervisors and tutors.

Background
Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The Astrakhan gas complex primarily aims at developing the Astrakhan gas and condensate field that features high hydrogen sulfide content – up to 25 per cent. The complex is focused on gas and gas condensate extraction and processing into marketable products.
Gazprom dobycha Astrakhan's social policy is primarily targeted at participation in socially significant regional projects, charitable activities, assistance to orphans and disabled children, fosterlings of boarding schools, children from single-parent, large and needy families.
