Within the Gazprom for Children program Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd opened versatile sports grounds for children in regional centers of the Republic of Kalmykia – Priyutnoye, Troitskoye, Yashkul.

Sports grounds are equipped with special safe flooring and reliable illumination. Physical training lessons, sports club trainings, football and volleyball matches can be held during any season.

Background

Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom operating more than 7.5 thousand kilometers of gas trunklines.

The company performs natural gas transmission to Central and Southern Federal Okrugs of the Russian Federation as well as within and beyond the CIS through the gas trunkline system in the Volgograd, Voronezh, Rostov Oblasts and the Republic of Kalmykia.

Since 2007 as part of the Gazprom for Children program Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd has built 18 multifunctional sports grounds for children and one culture and sports center within the area of its business operations in four Russian Federation constituents.
