Spartan Games in Rodnichok health and fitness center

The Rodnichok health and fitness center – established by Gazprom Transgaz Saratov – hosted the Spartan Games between six children’s holiday camps from the Saratov Oblast.

At the opening ceremony Alexey Danilov, Chairman of the Saratov Oblast Government and Valentina Orus, Head of the Rodnichok health and fitness center wished children every success and deserved the win in the competition. Valentina Orus also noted that similar sports events were very important for bringing up the physically healthy, socially active and creative younger generation.

The program consisted of both sports competition games including futsal, table tennis, darts, volleyball, basketball, and creative contests. Young Spartans competed in vocal and dance skills, participated in the regional history quiz.

In Rodnichok there were created all conditions for holding the Spartan Games at the highest level. The open sports grounds and well-equipped gyms were available to children.

In the overall standings of the Spartan Games, the Rodnichok team took the first place, the team of the orthodox holiday camp Solnechny, sponsored by the company, was second.
