Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky organized a chess tournament dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the town. Taking part in the tournament, which took place in the Gasmen Culture and Sports Center, were the veterans of chess battles, the total of 28 people. Players from the Tchaikovsky nursing home were also invited.
Addressing the participants, Alexey Sokolov – Deputy Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky – thanked the players for their dedication to the black-and-white game and wished them every success.

Background
Gazprom Transgaz Tchaikovsky is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom. The company is focused on natural gas transmission to the central regions of the Russian Federation and the “blue fuel” supplies to the Perm Krai, the Republic of Udmurtia, the Kirov Oblast and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The chess tournament among veterans has been held for the second time. Last year the competition was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory.
