Nevertheless, the company’s certified activity in the field of environmental management was acknowledged as worthy for ranking Gazprom transgaz Ukhta among the top 100 Russian companies in terms of ecology and environmental management, and becoming the prize winner of the nation-wide environmental contest.
Background
Gazprom transgaz Ukhta is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom with its gas transmission system running across the Republic of Komi, Arkhangelsk, Kostroma, Tver and Vladimir Oblasts. Further on, the gas is delivered to the Moscow railroad circle, Saint Petersburg, the Baltic States, Eastern Europe, Finland and Germany.
