On behalf of Gazprom Transgaz Surgut management and employees I congratulate you on the 20th anniversary of Gazprom!

20 years is a crucial milestone for the Company signifying the beginning of its maturity after explosive natural growth. This is not a very long, yet not an easy way, which testifies to a well-planned and sound policy pursued by the management as well as a high professional level of the employees.

The gas complex is a leading sector of today’s Russian economy. It shows efficient performance under the market conditions and significantly contributes to the socioeconomic development of the country as well as strengthening of its energy security.

Gazprom is engaged in numerous social programs, provides assistance to Russian retirees, veterans, disabled children, orphanage residents, as well as allots considerable funds to the construction of sports and cultural facilities, creation of new jobs. Not only does Gazprom possess a branchy gas transmission system, it brings life to urban and rural areas.

We are proud that Gazprom Transgaz Surgut’s personnel are a part of the gas Company, and during all these years we have been aware of our participation in the immense achievements of the gas industry. We put our labor and our hearts into this land. It is our home here.

We have new enormous developments in the Arctic region in store. Its reserves are the backbone of the Company’s resource base. I am sure that we have enough experience, professionalism and persistence to fulfill these ambitious plans.

There is no greater happiness than having your work as your calling. I wish you, esteemed Mr. Miller, and all the Gazprom’s employees health, strength, self-confidence, dedication and vitality to meet expectations of the Company and the close ones.
