On behalf of Marubeni Corporation and on my personal behalf, let me cordially congratulate you and all the Gazprom employees on the 20th anniversary of the Company.

During these years Gazprom has matured into a global energy major possessing enormous hydrocarbon reserves and the longest gas transmission system.

We highly appreciate the business ties binding our companies and pay much attention to Gazprom’s brisk growth and geographical expansion, inter alia, eastwards. On this occasion, we would like once again to express our strong interest in the cooperation covering new gas developments offshore Sakhalin and in Eastern Siberia, as well as a gas liquefaction complex construction and LNG marketing. We are sure we could contribute to developing the Russian Far East and to securing uninterrupted energy supplies to the Asia-Pacific region.
