Elena Ilyukhina and Sergey Kupriyanov were elected as Members of the Gazprom Management Committee.

Gazprom commenced the implementation of the “Eastern Gas Supply System” Gas Trunkline System project (the connection of Power of Siberia and Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipelines). The construction of the Belogorsk – Khabarovsk section began. The project provides for a comprehensive development of gas transmission capacities in eastern Russia and their further integration with the gas infrastructure in the west of Russia.

Gazprom's Spartakiada Games with record number of subsidiaries' teams took place in Yekaterinburg.

In the 2023–2024 autumn/winter period, Gazprom delivered a record-high amount of gas to Russian consumers: about 5 per cent more than in the 2022–2023 heating season.

The Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation Arts Festival took place in China.

Commercial production of natural gas and gas condensate from Block 3А in the Achimov formations of the Urengoyskoye field started in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.

The Agreement on information exchange was signed between Gazprom and the Federal Agency for Forestry of the Russian Federation.

A new guided tour titled Peter's Way was launched in St. Petersburg at Gazprom's initiative. The tour goes through iconic places where the city was born: Petrovskaya Embankment, Peter the Great's Cabin and Trinity Square.

The annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom was held in the form of absentee voting.

Upgraded generating facilities were put into operation in two constituent entities of the Russian Federation, namely modernized turbo generator No. 4 at CHPP-23 in Moscow and modernized turbo generator No. 1 at the Kirishi SDPP in the Leningrad Region.

Construction work began to build the Yuzhno-Yakutsk Thermal Power Plant located near the urban settlement of Chulman in the Neryungrinsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The following documents were signed:

– long-term contracts for natural gas supplies to the Kyrgyz Republic between Gazprom Export and Gazprom Kyrgyzstan. Supplies under the new contracts will be carried out in 2025–2040;

– long-term contracts for natural gas supplies between Gazprom Kyrgyzstan and large consumers of the Kyrgyz Republic, namely Electric Stations and the Bishkekteploenergo municipal enterprise;

– long-term contracts between Gazprom and NC QazaqGaz for the transmission of Russian gas across the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic. The contracts will be effective in the period from 2025 through 2040;

– the Strategic Memorandum between Gazprom and National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) on the elaboration of arrangements for pipeline supplies of Russian natural gas to Iran;

– the Action plan between Gazprom and the Republic of Kazakhstan for preparing the Central Asia – Center IV gas trunkline facilities for the increased transmission volumes of Russian gas to be delivered to Uzbekistan;

– Roadmaps to expand the use of high-tech products, including import-substituting ones, for the benefit of Gazprom between Gazprom and three constituent entities of the Russian Federation – the Astrakhan, Tomsk and Voronezh Regions. The documents cover the period from 2024 through 2027;

– the updated Program (Roadmap) for cooperation in the implementation of projects for social and economic development of the city between Gazprom and the city of St. Petersburg. The new version of the document provides for more than 60 projects and has a special focus on further comprehensive improvement of the urban areas and replacement of street lighting;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom, the city of St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Shipbuilding Corporation “Ak Bars.” The document aims to expand the use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel in the waterborne transport running in the waters of St. Petersburg;

– the Agreement between Gazprom and the Chelyabinsk Region on a wider use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel;

– the Coordination Agreement between Gazprom and CenterEngineering. The parties will develop and manufacture a new stationary gas turbine engine with a capacity of 10 MW. In the future, this product will serve as the basis for the creation of a range of 6–25 MW engines. The Agreement also envisages that CenterEngineering will provide comprehensive maintenance and major repairs of equipment at Gazprom's compressor stations;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom, Gazprombank and Russian Quantum Center. The parties will cooperate on the matters related to the creation of high-tech solutions and equipment on the basis of quantum technologies;

– the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and Alfa-Bank;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. Inter alia, the parties plan to manufacture new-generation storage systems for compressed natural gas, which will be used for equipping mobile refuelers;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and GAZ Group with regard to the production and supply of natural gas-powered motor vehicles for the needs of Gazprom;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and AMK Standard. AMK Standard will master the production and supply of new models of domestic natural gas-powered road construction machines and special vehicles for the needs of Gazprom;

– the Agreement of Cooperation in the implementation of the 2024 World Construction Championship between the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, Gazprom, State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the Russian Student Brigades (RSO) National Youth Public Organization, Russian Railways, and the Russia – Land of Opportunity Autonomous Non-Profit Organization;

– the Coordination Agreement between Gazprom Shelfproject and the Machine Building Division of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. It is planned to use the production assets of Gazprom Shelfproject, for instance, for the transportation of the casings of floating nuclear power plants produced by Rosatom;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom 335, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and Nizhegorodskiy Zavod 70 Letiya Pobedy (Nizhny Novgorod Plant of the 70th Anniversary of Victory). The parties intend to train specialists in high-tech machine building for the enterprises of Russia's fuel and energy complex.

The third edition of Art Fair 1703 took place in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall in St. Petersburg.

A new all-time daily high was reached in terms of summer gas supplies from Russia's Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS). The daily record was set on August 23 at 701.8 million cubic meters of gas.

September

At the Arskaya compressor station (Gazprom Transgaz Kazan), the pilot operation of the new-generation domestic gas turbine engine AL-41ST-25 commenced.

Gazprom School Svobodny was opened in the Alexeevsky residential microdistrict of Svobodny, Amur Region. The school was built by Gazprom for the children of the Amur Gas Processing Plant's employees.

The Water Sports Center was opened in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Sakhalin Region. The Center is among the largest water sports complexes in the Far East. The facility will make it possible to promote sports that have not been mastered before on Sakhalin Island, such as synchronized swimming, diving and water polo. The Center can serve as a training ground for professional teams of athletes and host national competitions.

Gas supplies to a new municipal boiler house started in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region. The boiler house is the first one in the city to use natural gas. It will replace as many as six coal-fired boiler houses, thus significantly improving the city's air quality. For the purposes of gas supply and gas infrastructure expansion in Blagoveshchensk and gas supplies to the new boiler house, Gazprom built and launched a gas pipeline branch complete with the Blagoveshchensk gas distribution station, as well as an inter-settlement gas pipeline of more than 20 kilometers in length.

The following documents were signed:

– The Supplementary Agreement to the Sales and Purchase Agreement for Russian gas to be supplied via the eastern route between Gazprom and CNPC. In line with the request of the Chinese partners, the parties agreed upon additional supplies to be performed in December 2024.

– The Schedule (roadmap) through 2032 for gas infrastructure expansion in Belogorsk, Amur Region, between Gazprom and the Government of the Amur Region.

The third Labor (Professional Excellence) Festival of Gazprom was held.

The third season of the Friends of St. Petersburg festival of creative and educational projects took place in St. Petersburg.

The new condensate de-ethanization unit was put into operation at the Urengoy Condensate Treatment Plant, which is an important facility within Gazprom's technological complex for the processing of the reserves of the Nadym-Pur-Taz region.

The Metrology Center unique to Russia and featuring the National Primary Standard for gas flow was launched.

St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024 took place in St. Petersburg. More than 34,000 people representing 54 countries (Russia and 53 states of Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America) took part in the SPIGF, which is a record-high number of participants for the forum.

A unique multifunctional mobile inspection robot of Russian make was presented at the exhibition of St. Petersburg International Gas Forum 2024.

Pilot tests of the TEM18-LNG shunter powered by liquefied natural gas were started.

The following documents were signed:

– the Coordination Agreement – the addendum to the long-term Sales and Purchase Agreement for natural gas to be supplied via the Far Eastern route between Gazprom and CNPC;

– the Memorandum of Understanding with regard to the possibility of increasing Russian gas supplies to Hungary;

– the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Republic of Belarus. The document provides for the designing of hi-tech products of Belarusian make, including import-substituting ones, for the needs of Gazprom, and launching the output of such products;

– the Memorandum of Understanding between Gazprom, the Leningrad Region and the Republic of Belarus. The parties will elaborate the matters related to the manufacture, supplies and service maintenance of equipment offered by Belarusian enterprises for its use in gas infrastructure expansion projects in the Leningrad Region;

– the Roadmap to expand the use of high-tech products of regional manufacturers, including import-substituting items, for the benefit of the Company between Gazprom and the Yaroslavl Region;

– synchronization plans (roadmaps) for developing NGV fuel markets between Gazprom, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region;

– the schedule (roadmap) between Gazprom and the Jewish Autonomous Region for connecting the city of Birobidzhan to the Belogorsk – Khabarovsk gas pipeline through 2032;

– the schedule (roadmap) between Gazprom and the Krasnoyarsk Territory for gas infrastructure expansion in the region that outlines the activities for gas infrastructure expansion in the city of Krasnoyarsk through 2028;

– the Agreement on a wider use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel between Gazprom and the Krasnoyarsk Territory;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Kaliningrad Region. Gazprom will ensure further reliable gas supplies to the regional consumers, continue bringing gas to urban and rural localities and keep on developing the NGV market;

– the Coordination Agreement between Gazprom, the Volgograd Region and RariTEK Holding aimed at achieving a wider use of natural gas in the agro-industrial complex of the region;

– the Coordination Agreement between Gazprom and the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters. The document envisages the enhancement of the ways of information exchange; development of research and methodological assistance; sci-tech support of activities; and elaboration of proposals to improve the legislation;

– the agreement of intent between Gazprom and Russian Stainless Company. The parties plan to cooperate in covering the needs of Gazprom for rolled metal products made of stainless and corrosion-resistant steels and alloys;

– the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and Apatit. The companies are interested in developing long-term partnership as regards the supplies of sulfur produced by the Gazprom Group to Apatit's processing facilities;

– the agreement of strategic partnership and cooperation between Gazprom and United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation). The parties will work on organizing the batch production, maintenance and repair of domestic gas turbine engines of the AL series;

– the agreement of intent between Gazprom Helium Service and MAZ. The companies will explore the opportunities for their joint work as regards supplies of liquefied natural gas for the automobile plant;

– the roadmap between Gazprom Helium Service, the Volgograd Region and RariTEK Holding. The document outlines a number of specific activities for converting the region's agricultural machinery and equipment to liquefied natural gas;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom Helium Service and UK Polyus (Polyus Managing Company). The parties will explore the possibility of implementing a pilot project for converting quarry machinery to LNG and for off-grid gas supplies to the boiler houses of the Polyus Aldan gold mining enterprise in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia);

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, the Amur Region Government and Amur State University;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom Invest and the Russian Student Brigades (RSO) National Youth Public Organization;

– the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom-Media Holding and the Russian Student Brigades (RSO) National Youth Public Organization.

The corporate team of Gazprom became the winner of the Fourth World Construction Championship.

Gazprom brought its daily gas exports to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline to the maximum contractual level ahead of schedule.

The Gazprom Board of Directors approved the investment program and budget for 2025.

Gazprom and LUKOIL signed the 2025–2030 General Agreement on Strategic Partnership.

Catherine Palace's Zubov Wing was opened after its ambitious restoration with support from Gazprom at the Tsarskoe Selo State Museum and Heritage Site.

The opening ceremony for two new halls of The Peter the Great Gallery, which had been created with support from Gazprom, took place at the State Hermitage Museum.
