The Board of Directors resolved to hold the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom on June 26, 2015 in Moscow.
China’s rating agency Dagong assigned the highest credit rating to Gazprom.
Gazprom held the Investor Day for the first time in Asia – in Hong Kong and Singapore.
New appointments:
- Pavel Krylov was put in charge of a new Department of Gazprom;
- Vladimir Krokha was appointed Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk;
- Vladimir Kiyayev was named Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg;

Viktor Zubkov and Alexey Miller were reelected as Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors and Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors respectively.
Alexander Novak, Russian Minister of Energy was elected as a Member of the Gazprom Board of Directors.
A permit was obtained on engineering surveys for the offshore section of Turkish Stream.
The following documents were signed:
- the Memorandum of Intent among Gazprom, E.ON, Shell and OMV to implement a project for the construction of two gas pipeline strings from the Russian coast to the German coast via the Baltic Sea;
- the EUR 300 million credit agreement for a four-year term between Gazprom and UniCredit Bank Austria;
- the Memorandum between Gazprom and Shell on implementing the project for constructing the third process train at the LNG plant within Sakhalin II;
- the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and Shell in the labor protection and industrial safety area;
- the Agreement on strategic lines of cooperation between Gazprom and KAMAZ to expand the Russian NGV market;
- the Agreement between Gazprom and PetroVietnam on major terms and conditions for developing the Nagumanovskoye and Severo-Purovskoye fields;
- the Agreement for extending the sales and purchase contract for gas from the Karachaganakskoye gas and condensate field till 2038;
- the Shareholders’ Agreement between Tsentrenergoholding and NIS Novi Sad on setting up Serbskaya Generaciya Novi Sad to construct a Thermal Power Plant in Serbia;

The new combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT-220) was put into operation at CHPP-12 of Mosenergo.

The Gazprom Board of Directors approved the report on the progress in 2014 with Gazprom’s Innovative Development Program until 2020.

- the Framework Agreement on cooperation between Gazprom and Gasunie in the area of small scale LNG;
- the Agreement on Cooperation between Gazprom and SIBUR in designing, coordinating equipment and material supplies and managing the construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant.

The first joint was welded of the final section of Phase II at the Bukhara Gas-Bearing Province – Tashkent – Bishkek – Almaty gas pipeline.
The construction of the Gazprom Center multi-purpose complex was launched in Minsk.
The first stage of the project to supply gas to Innopolis (Tatarstan) was completed – a gas branch from the Kazan – Gorky gas pipeline was commissioned as well as the Elizavetino automatic gas distribution station.
The Roadmap was signed for the project on wider use of high-tech products by Tatarstan’s companies for Gazprom’s benefit.

Gazprom commissioned a cutting-edge pressure control station in the Lenin District of the Moscow Region.
The following documents were signed:
- the Memorandum of Understanding on the project for pipeline gas supply to China from the Russian Far East between Gazprom and CNPC;
- the Framework Agreement between Gazprom and YPF on joint exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Argentina;
- the Shareholders Agreement among Gazprom, BASF, E.ON, ENGIE, OMV and Shell within the Nord Stream 2 project;
- the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East within the Amur GPP construction project;
- the Agreement on closing the asset swap deal between Gazprom and Wintershall Holding (as a result of the deal, Gazprom will increase its share in WINGAS, WIEH and WIEE to 100 per cent as well as receive a 50 per cent stake in WINZ, while Wintershall will obtain 25.01 per cent in the project for developing Blocks 4A and 5A in the Achimov deposits of the Urengoy field);
- the Term Sheet regarding a possible asset swap between Gazprom and OMV (once the deal is closed, OMV will acquire a 24.98 per cent stake in the project for developing Blocks 4A and 5A of the Achimov deposits at the Urengoy field in exchange for Gazprom’s participation in OMV);
- the 20-year contract between Gazprom Mezhregiongaz and National Chemical Group to supply gas for the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant.
11th Summer Spartakiada Games took place in the Krasnodar Territory. Gazprom Transgaz Yugorsk became the winner in the team event.
Sergey Silantyev was recognized as the best welder of Gazprom in 2015.
October
The construction of the Amur gas processing plant started to make it Russia's major and one of the world's major gas processing facilities.
The first joint of the Ukhta – Torzhok 2 gas main was welded.
Gazprom and BASF/Wintershall completed the asset swap. Gazprom increased its share in WINGAS, WIEH and WIEE to 100 per cent as well as received a 50 per cent stake in WINZ. Wintershall obtained 25.01 per cent in the project for developing Blocks 4A and 5A in the Achimov deposits of the Urengoyskoye field.
The 2016–2020 Program for Comprehensive Overhaul of Linear Sections of Gas Mains was approved.
The following documents were signed:
- the Memorandum of Understanding on oil supply between Gazprom and OMV;
- the agreements among Gazprom, Pipe Metallurgical Company and Tomsk Machine-Building Technologies to initiate mass production, supply and maintenance of import substituting products;
- the memorandums on natural gas use as a vehicle fuel among Gazprom, United Metallurgical Company, Pipe Metallurgical Company TMK and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant;
- the LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement for 10 years between Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore and Pavilion Gas;
- the Memorandum of Understanding on possible cooperation deepening in underground gas storage, NGV sector and small-scale LNG shipments.
Alexander Koryakin was put in charge of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy.
Andrey Zakharov was elected Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar.
The 'Gas up Engines!' motor rally, which kicked off from Tomsk, Yugorsk and Stavropol ended in St. Petersburg. The rally was comprised of 13 vehicles representing 12 subsidiaries of Gazprom.
November
Gazprom signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. The document outlines the main areas of potential partnership between the two companies.
Vladimir Dmitruk was appointed Director General of Severneftegazprom.
Gazprom’s project on the refurbishment and renovation of Chokan Valikhanov Street in Omsk was honored with the Structural Awards 2015 (UK).
December
Gazprom approved the Investment Program, Financial Plan and Cost Optimization Program for 2016.
Two 420 MW combined cycle gas turbines were put onstream – one at CHPP-20 in Moscow, the other – at the Serov SDPP in the Sverdlovsk Region.
The following documents were signed:
- the Agreement between Gazprom and CNPC to design and construct the cross-border section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, including the submerged crossing under the Amur River;
- the Memorandum of Understanding in the oil sector between Gazprom Neft and CNPC;
- the Agreement between Gazprom and CNPC to provide communications lines at the Power of Siberia cross-border section;
- the Action Plans of Gazprom and CNPC within gas-fired power generating projects and the project for natural gas supply to China;
- the Addendum to the Memorandum of Cooperation between Gazprom and CNOOC;
- the 10-year agreement between Gazprom and Amber Grid for Russian gas transit across Lithuania to the Kaliningrad Region;
- the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Government for 2016;
- the Addendum to the Agreement of Cooperation between Gazprom and the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area – Yugra.
Alexey Miller moderated the 33rd meeting of the IBC Presiding Committee.
The winners of the 2015 Science and Technology Prize of Gazprom were awarded. The top prize was given to the project of Gazprom VNIIGAZ.
Yury Korsakov was recognized as the best cable welder of Gazprom in 2015.
