January
The Board of Directors elected Vitaly Markelov, Vladimir Markov and Elena Mikhailova as members of the Gazprom Management Committee.
The Russian Regions Gasification Program for 2012 was approved. Gazprom allocated a record amount of investments – more than RUB 37 billion for Russian regions gasification.
Gazprom registered a new wholly-owned subsidiary – OOO Gazprom Personal.
Vyacheslav Mikhalenko was elected as Director General of Gazprom Invest Vostok.
February
The Board of Directors resolved to convene the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom on June 29, 2012 in Moscow.
The Company reported its statement under IFRS for the nine months of 2011.
As part of the South Stream project:
- the Company resolved to design South Stream for the maximum annual throughput of 63 billion cubic meters;
- Gazprom and Plinovodi signed a Supplementary Agreement to the South Stream Slovenia LLC Shareholders Agreement defining the parameters of the gas pipeline section in Slovenia;
- a decision was taken to elaborate the feasibility study for the gas lateral construction to Montenegro.
Gazprom and the consortium of Japanese companies Japan Far East Gas Co., Ltd. moved over to the investment rationale for the LNG plant near Vladivostok.
The first competitions took place at Gazprom's Mountain Tourist Center in Krasnaya Polyana – the National Sports Competitions for 8 to 11 year old children and the Russian Biathlon Cup.

Gazprom commissioned Russia's most powerful combined cycle gas turbine unit at Kirishi SDPS.

The Company signed:
- agreements with PetroVietnam on Gazprom involvement in joint development projects for Licensed Blocks 05.2 and 05.3 offshore Vietnam as well as on staff training and retraining;
- Memorandum of Cooperation with NOVATEK on the parties' intent to establish joint ventures for building up integrated capacities on liquefied natural gas (LNG) production on the Yamal Peninsula and joint development of the available resource base on the Gydan Peninsula.
Henning Voscherau was elected as Chairman of South Stream Transport AG Board of Directors.
Igor Tkachenko was elected as Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.
Vladimir Subbotin was elected as Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Samara.

Gazprom's annual General Shareholders Meeting took place. The Meeting elected the new Board of Directors.
Gazprom started feeding gas into the first string of the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas trunkline system.
Gazprom and EDF signed the Cooperation Agreements on gas power generation in Europe.
Shamil Sharipov was appointed as Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa.

The Company's Board of Directors approved the 2011 report on the progress with the Gazprom Innovative Development Program until 2020.
Gazprom completed construction and hookup of another 42 production wells to produce gas from the Cenomanian deposit of the Zapolyarnoye field.
The Company signed:
- Agreement with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on Gazprom joining as an Official Partner of the UEFA Champions League for the seasons 2012 through 2015 and the UEFA Super Cup 2012–2014;
- Sci-Tech Cooperation Agreements and Programs with domestic producers of pipe products.
Gazprom developed the Program for Gas Supply and Gasification Development in the Republic of Karelia in 2012–2015.
Sergey Mazanov was elected Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy.

Construction of production wells was launched at the Kirinskoye gas and condensate field offshore the Sakhalin Island as part of the Sakhalin III project.

Gazprom reported its 1Q 2012 financial results under IFRS.
South Stream Slovenia joint project company was registered for South Stream project implementation in Slovenia.
The Company signed:
- Memorandum of Cooperation with Government of Republika Srpska on establishment of mutually beneficial partnership and cooperation, inclusively as part of South Stream project implementation;
- Cooperation Agreement with Rosneft on the joint pre-development of offshore hydrocarbon fields;
- Memorandum of Understanding with Summa Group on cooperation in LNG usage as bunker fuel for marine vessels;
- Memorandum on the Vladivostok-LNG project with Japan's Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.
Pavel Gladkov was elected as Director General of Gazprom Podzemremont Orenburg.
October
The Board of Directors approved the adjusted Investment Program, Budget and Cost Optimization Program of Gazprom.
Commercial gas production was launched in the new large gas-bearing region – Yamal first startup complexes of the Bovanenkovo field and the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta gas trunkline system were commissioned.
The second string of the Nord Stream gas pipeline was commissioned, the decision was adopted on the expediency of building the third and the fourth strings.
The final investment decisions were approved for building the Hungarian and Serbian sections of the South Stream gas pipeline.
The Company started the second stage of the Eastern Gas Program – establishing a large gas production center in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The final investment decision on the Chayandinskoye field and the Yakutia – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas pipeline was made.

- the LNG Purchase and Sale Contract for 2.5 million tons a year during 20 years with GAIL;

- the Supplementary Agreement to the Agreement of Cooperation over 2011 to 2013 with the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area.
Alexey Davydov was elected as Director General of Gazprom Geologorazvedka.
November
The Company published its 2012 half year financial statements under IFRS.
The final investment decisions were approved for building the offshore section of the South Stream gas pipeline as well as its onshore sections in Bulgaria and Slovenia.
The CCGT-450 combined cycle gas turbine unit was commissioned at the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP in Saint Petersburg.
The following documents were signed:
- the Company's General Collective Agreement for 2013 to 2015;
- the Sci-Tech Cooperation Program 2012–2014 with the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and Energy;
- the Sci-Tech Cooperation Agreement with PetroVietnam;
- the Basic Agreement on Asset Swap with Wintershall under the project for joint development of the Achimov deposits in the Urengoy field;
- the Supplementary Agreement to the contract with PGNiG on adjusting the price for gas supplies to Poland.

The Board of Directors approved the Investment Program, the Budget and the Cost Reduction Program for 2013.
The South Stream gas pipeline construction started.

The world's first liquefied natural gas supply via the Northern Sea Route was successfully completed.
The Ob River liquefied natural gas carrier successfully completed the world's first LNG supply via the Northern Sea Route
Gazprom finished reconstruction of the heat supply system in the Petrodvortsovy District of Saint Petersburg.
The following documents were signed:
- the contract for the purchase of Uzbek gas and the Agreement for Gas Transmission via Uzbekistan over 2013 to 2015;
- the Cooperation Agreement for 2013 with the Government of Saint Petersburg;
- the Long-Term Cooperation Program until 2020 with REP Holding.
Gazprom and NOVATEK extended the Memorandum of Cooperation until February 1, 2013.
The gas trunkline system from Yakutia and the Irkutsk Region to Vladivostok was named the Power of Siberia, following the results of the contest held by Gazprom.
Alexey Miller moderated the 27th meeting of the European Business Congress Presiding Committee.
Dmitry Lyugai was put in charge of the Prospective Development Department of Gazprom.
